Main Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Administration
- Support the administration and maintenance of the Company’s IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, network connectivity, firewall and enterprise systems.
- Assist in managing Windows environment in both physical and virtual environments.
- Assist in the administration of email system in cloud environment.
- Perform regular system monitoring to ensure the integrity, availability, and performance of all servers, systems, and IT infrastructure resources.
- Review system and application logs to detect abnormalities and ensure scheduled system processes such as backups are successfully completed.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, system software, and enterprise applications including SharePoint.
- Administration in Linux environment is advantageous
System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Conduct routine monitoring of IT infrastructure to ensure systems are operating efficiently and without interruption.
- Configure and monitor system backup operations to ensure that all data and system configurations are securely backed up and recoverable during emergency scenarios.
- Apply operating system updates, security patches, firmware upgrades and configuration changes to maintain system security and stability.
- Assist in maintaining antivirus and endpoint protection systems across the organization.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues, escalating complex technical problems to the Lead-IT when necessary.
Account & Access Management
- Create, modify, and remove user accounts in accordance with access management policies and IT security procedures.
- Assist in managing user permissions and access rights for systems and applications.
- Support identity management tasks to ensure that users have appropriate access to the required systems, applications and resources.
IT Asset & Equipment Management
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets including computers, peripherals, and equipment
- Monitor lifecycle of IT hardware including deployment, maintenance, and retirement of obsolete equipment.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure IT equipment is tracked and recorded appropriately.
IT System Deployment & Project Support
- Support deployment of new desktop applications, systems, and infrastructure components.
- Assist in installation and configuration of new IT hardware and software.
- Provide technical support for IT-related projects and system rollouts across the organisation.
Documentation & IT Operational Support
- Maintain documentation for system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support the Lead – IT in maintaining operational procedures and system records.
Financial (Budget/Contract)
- Support monitoring of IT operational resources including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Assist in providing technical input for IT equipment procurement and system upgrades when required.
- Assist with IT equipment procurement process (prepare Request for Quotation forms, creation of Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order).
- Ensure IT resources and equipment are used efficiently and maintained properly to minimise operational disruptions.
Position Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT system administration, infrastructure support, or technical support environments.
- Experience supporting Windows-based server environments and enterprise user systems.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN setups and VPN configuration.
- Professional IT certifications are advantageous; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft-related certifications

- Good command of spoken and written Malay and English languages.
